Πόσο σημαντικός είναι ο καθαρισμός της επιδερμίδας; 

Είναι το πρώτο και πιο σημαντικό βήμα στην καθημερινή της περιποίηση. Και ξέρω ότι πολλές γυναίκες, ιδιαίτερα οι πιο νεαρές, παραμελούν τον καθαρισμό. Θα χρησιμοποιήσω όμως μια παρομοίωση για να περιγράψω το πόσο πραγματικά απαραίτητος και ζωτικής σημασίας είναι για την υγεία της επιδερμίδας μας. Ας πούμε ότι έχουμε ένα απορροφητικό χαρτί με το οποίο έχουμε σκουπίσει μια ποσότητα με λάδι. Αμέσως μετά προσπαθούμε με το ίδιο χαρτί να σκουπίσουμε και λίγο νερό που έχει χυθεί. Πιστεύετε θα το απορροφήσει; Ή τουλάχιστον θα το απορροφήσει τόσο ικανοποιητικά όσο πρέπει; Όχι βέβαια! Φανταστείτε λοιπόν πως οι ρύποι της ατμόσφαιρας, το σμήγμα που παράγει η ίδια η επιδερμίδα μας μαζί με ιδρώτα, η σκόνη που αιωρείται, τα προϊόντα περιποίησης που έχουμε χρησιμοποιήσει πάνω της και τα προϊόντα μακιγιάζ… όλα αυτά μαζί μετά από κάποιες ώρες, έχουν πια το ρόλο του λαδιού που σας αναφέρω! Πως είναι δυνατόν λοιπόν μια επιδερμίδα που είναι ήδη καλυμμένη ασφυκτικά με όλα αυτά, και ας μην τα βλέπουμε, να αναπνέει άνετα και να απορροφήσει ό,τι της βάλουμε ενδεχομένως από πάνω; Σκεφτείτε το! Και είμαι σίγουρη πως από απόψε το βράδυ θα καθαρίζετε πολύ πιο σχολαστικά την επιδερμίδα σας.
